San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The municipal library "Julio Rosa" exhibits the collective expo "Intentions", as part of the final course of the handicrafts workshop.
Participated in this workshop craft students from the Joint Center "Batalla del Jigüe" Gean Carlos, actor of the children's theater group Storytellers gave the classes.
The exhibition includes 16 works with the technique of papier mache and wood carving. Paper mache is a technique of modeling and sculpture used since ancient times for conducting various craft projects.
The jury awarded prizes to the best works, the big prize went to the work La Bolitera by Daymarelis Oliva, while the first place went to Trihongo creation by Yanaisa González, the second to Serpenta by Ladisbel Prieto and third one was for Botihongo by Adrián Hernández. The jury also awarded 2 mentions.
The intent of this workshop was to create in their students handicrafts skills, the next school year will continue the classes.
