Ariguanabo at Havana Biennial

Artemisa, Cuba - Two ariguanabense artists participating at Havana Biennial. William Cruz and Arley Perera swell the list of the participants, is one of the most attractive editions of the prestigious event and show the public in a different way the combination of different symbols of world culture, through digital art.
According to William Cruz Perdomo, the exhibition's central theme the fusion of culture and society, with the aim of showing a new view on the world scene. The works are made of charcoal on canvas large format and manipulated, printed on photographic paper and digital photography are about a dozen works, which were launched this May 26th and will be available to the public until June 22nd.
For the artist it's a privilege to be born in a township, home to many fine artists who have set standards in the Cuban culture as Eduardo Abela, René de la Nuez, Angel Boligán, among others. One of the commitments of the young artist is to consolidate the idea of the second edition of Villa Infinite Festival next September.
San Antonio de los Baños is a territory with a well-established cultural environment with outstanding International Graphic Humor Biennial, the Halls of Art, Photography Biennial, Humorangas. All these events foster the emergence of new artists, because linking their inhabitants in these cultural activities.
