Havana's Biennial Surpasses Expectations, Cuban Minister Says

Havana - Culture Minister Julian Gonzalez stated here that the 12th Havana Biennial surpasses today all expectations with the participation of more than 40 countries until June 22.

This happens due to the quality of Cuban artists and their special dedication and commitment, to present the works in a supreme exhibition of talent, the minister said in statements to the Cuban News Agency.

Gonzalez, who described the event as an example of remarkable maturity, stressed the massive response of the audience to this exhibition that has become a popular high-call event.

The presence of artistic proposals practically throughout the city and all possible trends, was also held.

The official used the occasion to call visual art loving people to visit the Free Trade Zone, a mega-exhibition of Cuban contemporary art, the largest one carried out so far, located at the San Carlos de la Cabaña fortress.
