Just over drugs and their consequences

Just over drugs and their consequences

Cuba maintains a vertical position and with principles confrontating drug abuse within and outside the country, among other reasons because the most important in our society is human beings and drugs lead to the loss values and integrity of the individuals. Therefore, prevention is projected on a scientific basis and is approached from the point of view of social work and family, considering that to get really good results in this fight should involve not only the technical and health professionals, but also the population in general and sectors related to this issue.

The development of addiction and consumption cause severe health damage, no matter what type it is, all without exception on greater or lesser extent, are responsible for fatal consequences, including mental or behavioral persistent deterioration, vomiting, physical injury irreversible, psychotic and panic reactions, dehydration, amnesia, coma and convulsions, cardiac and breathing difficulties, unconsciousness. Therefore live without them it is the only alternative, reflect well on that prevention is also a solution.

Family or social environment to live under the pressure of drug users is undoubtedly a conflict of emotional instability and crisis, all potential consequences of that enemy that denigrates the individual and affects all levels of the community whatever the type of drug.

Considered drug addiction as a chronic, relapsing disease is highly dangerous, masks the clinical symptoms and soon progresses to the degree of dependence, loss of self-esteem, disturbances in behavior and life styles complications triggers a personal level, social work and always tending to worsen.

It is a recurring message: With drugs the best is not to start, explicitly keep in mind the risks and consequences, so prevention must be individualized to raise awareness of the problem that affects us and especially for educating to prevent those who have not used drugs do it.
