Was constituted in Artemisa delegation to the tenth congress of the UJC

Artemisa, Cuba - The provincial delegation to the tenth congress of the Cuban Youth Organization (UJC), to be held on next July 18 and 19, was constituted in Artemisa in the presence of the attackers of the Moncada Garrison and members of the Granma´s expedition Ernesto González Campo and Gilberto García Alonso, the first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Artemisa José Antonio Valeriano Fariñas and Yuniasky Crespo Baquero, First Secretary of the National Committee of the UJC.

At the meeting 35 young people received the membership card that accredits them members of the organization.

Baquero, first secretary of the youth organization at the country level, gave José Carlos Martínez Lorenzo, head of the delegation of the province of Artemisa, the allegorical symbol to the significant event. The also first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the UJC in Artemisa, said that they will defend with facts and energy the motherland and the socialism.

On behalf of the young people of Artemisa, the delegate to the meeting, Denia Pratt Olivares, gave a replica of the cube of the victory, symbol of the province of Artemisa, Susely Morfa González, second secretary of the National Committee of the UJC.

The 21 delegates of the province including one from the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) and four from the Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) and the four guests that will represent us in the youth event, will discuss with force the main strengths and weaknesses of the organization.
