To access to quality products, to crops and fields well catered for, say vegetables, root vegetables, citrus, fruits, beans, rice, among others depends largely on the work of the plant health. Prevent the introduction or spread of pests that may attack the productions of agriculture is one of the actions from the program's strategy and its compliance keep our fields healthy.

Our agriculture is committed to the introduction of agro-ecological practices aimed at reducing the use of pesticides and fertilizers as well as referred to in the Plant Protection Program as to the substance or mixture of substances intended to prevent the action of insects, mites, rodents, fungi, weeds, bacteria or other forms of animal or plant life harmful to public health and agriculture.

We agree then that the plant workers and their work are links in the production chain work as physician to human health, so our recognition of that work, in many cases anonymously.

The work of the plant health is not limited to the harvest fields, soil, it also refers to the production, storage, transport, distribution and processing of agricultural products and their derivatives.

Humanity advances, today thanks to the development of plant protection products, they produce an extraordinary performance increase of land to achieve high levels of food production are used. However, its use has to be made rationally, because otherwise be incurred in the decline of biodiversity, soil pollution and water, also should not neglect the proper application, they are dangerous to the health of those who apply it, even for consumers because they can cause food poisoning if used excessively or improperly. All that come the phytosanitary and much more in his daily walk by farmers and others of the chain production.
