Richer Perez Wins Gold for Cuba in Men’s Marathon in Toronto

Cuban runner Richer Perez won on Saturday the gold medal in the men’s marathon competition of the 17th Pan-American Games in Toronto, Canada, which will end on Sunday.
The Cuban athlete, Central American and Caribbean champion in Veracruz 2014, timed two hours, 17 minutes and four seconds, valid to outdo Peruvian Raul Pacheco (2: 7.13) and Argentinean Mariano Mastromarino (2:17.45), who obtained silver and bronze, respectively.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''.
