Women and men: equal rights and duties

The society advances and with it the concepts, principles and values are set in line with the development. We must all agree that women and men are protagonists in the steep rising and unstoppable career that marks our lives.
So from the standpoint that measures individual task today it must be seen in the same light, the incalculable push of both sexes, because in the battle for gender equality everything is possible and nothing is alien to the shared combination that is an indivisible unit, consisting women and men.
It is imperative that we facilitate integration for the empowerment of women, examples of achievements in incredible positions as soldiers in the front lines, they wield a gun, remain vigilant on the coast, leading scientific projects in various branches of the economy and society, health, education, sports, internationalists, in food production and a rich list of the Cuban woman that nothing is impossible or foreign.
Cuban women discuss many issues, advocate with the same reason and truth the right to be protagonists in the daily battle without discrimination or contempt of its value, break barriers, convinced by delivery, love and strong will, although their performance on the responsibility for housework and child rearing. Today women are entitled with their full realization, imposes her strength of spirit and showing up alongside the man, convinced that looks like him, not different.

Havana - Cuba is a nation with a wealth of culture, stated the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Audrey Azoulay, at the inauguration of the 41st International Festival of New Latin American Cinema on Thursday, running through December 15 in this capital.
