
Artemisa, Cuba - More than 14 000 members of the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution in the province of Artemisa, receive a prioritized care for the Service Offices and the Institutions in the province.
About 2900 retirees receive the attention because they live alone, are suffering from chronic diseases, are bedridden or disabled, or are living in homes for the elderly grandparents.
The system also benefits a large group of fighters with specialized medical care in hospitals in Havana and those with low incomes receive the services of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
By an agreement of the Council of the Provincial Administration in Artemisa, were delivered 4800 food helps to disabled and bedridden persons and critical sick persons; and also with the funding for the maintenance and repair of their homes.
