Exhibition pays tribute to Quidiello
San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The Culture House Raymundo Valenzuela in this town, opened to the public "Quidiello´s students Hall" in its seventh edition dedicated to the centennial of Rubén Suárez Quidiello.
The exhibition features 9 works of visual arts by authors like Jessica Hernández, Angel Manuel Rodríguez, Edel Vega, Andy del Pino and Manolo Rodríguez, among others.
The exhibiting techniques are self-portrait, draft cardboard, oil on canvas, sculpture and engraving.
Curated by Adonis Marquetti and Javier Roman, who highlighted the opening so you can not miss the birth of this important artist of the municipality.
Thus highlighted the work of Quidiello, born on August 23rd, 1915. Graduated from San Alejandro Academy, brush and easel were his closest accomplices, to capture in his paintings the architecture of the city and Ariguanabo river. The exhibition is open for the ariguanabense public by a month.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
