Corporal posture

The posture we adopt depend on very important aspects like health and life quality. It is important to know that is influenced by various factors such as the individual personality traits, physiological characteristics, biomechanical and education also aware that these must maintain proper posture, is an aspect of health that can be learned and changed .

Poor posture with the body leaning forward or overly right, makes breathing difficult and can lead to problems such as lumbago, scoliosis and lordosis; also can cause compression of digestion organs and cause digestive discomfort.

In our desk or at a computer or in any work environment, poor posture may mean that we are inattentive and therefore less productive. On the contrary, proper posture prevents diseases and makes you look slimmer, lengthens the neck and torso, making it look thinner and even higher.

Another aspect of the position is to ensure the symmetrical and proportional alignment of body segments around the axis of body gravity. The ideal posture of a person is one who does not exaggerate or increases the lumbar, thoracic or cervical curve; that is, when the physiological curves of the spine are maintained. This is achieved by keeping your head up in the equilibrium position, without twisting the trunk, pelvis in neutral and lower limbs aligned so that the body weight is properly distributed.

Also, you should check well our workplaces and study. A chair with a height between 65 and 75 cm is recommended; with enough space inside so they can stretch their legs and they rest on the floor.

When using computer it is necessary to position the screen at a distance between 50 and 60 centimeters and a similar eye height. On the other hand it is vital to avoid a sedentary lifestyle. To maintain a correct posture is necessary to develop the muscles, through the systematic practice of exercises.

It is also necessary to strengthen especially the abdominal muscles, buttocks and shoulders are the areas of the body that are usually less exercise in everyday activity. These muscular planes are reinforced by localized exercises that can be performed on the ground.

Similarly, to maintain proper posture is necessary to take care of the body weight. Obesity and overweight very easily become a problem of attitude, so it is necessary to ensure adequate physical activity that allows to burn more calories and adequate food.
