The road to Punta de Piedra Peoples Council in Bahia Honda, will be the first in the municipality to benefit from the road improvement program that began this week in the northern town, for which at least 4000 tons of asphalt will be used.

In the analysis of investment in the province, Juan Dominguez, president of the Provincial Assembly of People's Power, highlighted the positive response to the proposals included in Bahia Honda’s economy plan.

Although the Boulevard, Juarez Theater and Music House, located in Artemisa and the Museum of History in San Antonio de los Baños township and the university are improving ; it is needed to used properly the resources available and be more efficient in the management to face delays in the works in health sector , said Jose Antonio Valeriano, member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in Artemisa.

"It is necessary to expedite the work on the second and third blocks of the boulevard and the change of use of real estate located along the street ," Valeriano said.

During this week the starting date to build the 3D cinema hall in the provincial capital will be scheduled , and maintenance actions in educational institutions should be intensified.

With the participation of Raul Rodriguez, head of the Provincial Administration Council, investments and maintenance in the field of sport, education, health, culture and institutions belonging to Artemisa’s Business Group, were assessed.
