Artemisa, Cuba - The day began very early in the morning in schools all over Artemisa province. Teachers as dream makers, are waiting for students eager to new experience and full of expectations. Again classrooms become halls for inter changes and discoveries.
In order to have schools ready to begin the new course, during the last days of August, while some persons were enjoying their vacations , a group of teachers, parents and students went to 375 schools to clean them and have them ready, besides the Art school (EPA) and two Sports school (EPEF and Eide).
Despite the difficulties with the water supply and the deterioration of some local, various actions were taken to institutions today dressed in finery first of September: painting and cleaning, installation of laboratories of physics, chemistry and biology, and organization classrooms.

"In a group of 96 schools to repair , 12 of them completed repair works and 35 are under implementation. The rest of schools are planned for the last four month period. The delay is mainly due to the carpentry and plumbing elements that newly arrived in the country, "said Marisela Torres, Provincial Director of Education.
"In addition, the municipalities received both the school uniform as study materials (except books missing nationwide)," said Tamara Avila, Director of Education, Culture and Sport in the Council of the Provincial Administration.
Guira de Melena Township hosted the provincial ceremony to inaugurate the course, due to the results achieved last year in implementing education changes, the entrance examinations to higher education and relevant work in primary education, highlighted Avila.
The 2015-2016 school year already began, and there is a new hope on every desk, for the future and welfare of a country having the privilege of free education at the service of every human being.
