Artemisa, Cuba - In the province of Artemisa, one with the largest poultry population in the country, are intensifying the measures to minimize the infections of the chicken known as the virus of Influenza Aviar.

The territory has a population of 4 245 078 birds identified in the specialized poultry farms of the 11 municipalities of the province, located in the state and private sector.

The 77 poultry units in Artemisa apply plans to avoid the Influenza Aviar with the systematic checking of the records of cooperation and the assessment of the vulnerabilities.

The Early Warning points and the Provincial and Municipal Managements are ready for the analysis, dissemination and transmission of information about the disease of all bird species.
