Artemisa, Cuba – The first base of warehouses of logistics activities, became operational in the Special Development Zone of Mariel (ZEDM) in the province of Artemisa, which consolidates every day a project that represents the Cuba´s door to foreign trade.
The work has two large warehouses that store the so called dry goods without refrigeration demand and the one that more systematic receives the modern container terminal.
As the operator of the warehouses base operates the Logistics Service Firm Mariel which belongs to the Company Almacenes Universales SA.
The new warehouses base of the Special Development Zone of Mariel, also provides container repair services, while is assuming the construction of a cold store of 4 sections and capable of receiving 700 thousand tons of frozen products.
