Artemisa, Cuba - Several are the young female teachers who start working this school year in the municipality of Candelaria after the recent graduation in the Teachers Training School. This is the case for example of Raidelis Cárdenas Blanco and María Caridad González. They were placed in the primary school José Martí, where they performed their teaching practices.

Both agree that their dream since childhood was being in front of a classroom teaching and educating the new generations. Today when they begin to see their dream come true it seems unreal to them and they promise to prepare themselves to become better professional everyday.

Raidelis added that her biggest thanks is to the revolution that allowed her to study for free until to obtain her dream; “…I assumed a commitment, she said, and it is to give her students her best to make them feel proud of her”.

Meanwhile María Caridad, who will soon have her first baby, said that she will work with students of first grade and they will be like her own daughter.
