Artemisa, Cuba - With a daily rate of more than 16 hectares in the cultivation of sugarcane ensure the sowing season the members of the Base Business Unit (UEB) Abraham Lincoln in Artemisa.

The director of the UEB, Nelson Barrios González said that to fulfill the annual plan there are only 311 hectares missing, to plant before the end of this month, for what is use the recent rains that cause moisture in the fields.

In the 11 production units of the municipalities of Guanajay and Artemisa, belonging to the Base Business Unit Abraham Lincoln, not a single moment is lost. Their workers are always involved in the works to increase the available areas for the growing of the sugarcane.

At the same time is getting ready the machinery that will be use in the sugarcane harvest in the integral repair shop that provides technical services to that equipment, which according to the manager of the entity will be in a perfect condition before December 8, start date for the sugarcane harvest 2015 -2016.
