Historians Union in Congress

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - The National Historians Union of Cuba in this town developed the Congress this year, with the aim of showing the work of its members. The Fighters Center was the space that gathered its members, which presented more than 10 works.
They discussed issues related to community projects, environmental issues and local history, advocating sanitation of Ariguanabo River and spreading the fighters history from the educational institutions, among others.
The jury, composed by Mercedes Calero, Professor of History and member of the organization and by José Miguel Delgado, the city historian, called to present the work in the provincial congress next September 30th. Party members and fighters of the clandestine struggle also participated in this meeting.
