¿Are there beneficial drugs?

Are there beneficial drugs? That is my question when I refer to the drug issue, because I do not think that in this aspect there may be positive results. Although psychiatric drugs are used because certain treatments need them, to a certain extent is good, but becoming addicted to it, then the beneficial result is lost.
If one day they become addicted to a medicine and use it as a drug, another day they will look for recognized drugs like marijuana, cocaine or the latest: Flakka wich devastates consumers.
Studies show that the most exposed population at this risk is between 20 and 30 years old. Between 35 and 55 damage includes health problems and psycho-neurological changes.
In Cuba there are various health and educational programs to prevent this. San Antonio de los Baños, for example deals with the issue in the project "The library in the prevention of alcoholism, drugs and sexually transmitted diseases", which represented the country at the International Federation Conference of Library Institutions and Associations in France.
Mental Health Center has a consultation dedicated to the issue, and it is also directed to family doctor's offices or schools, where they offer talks about this item.
It is necessary to keep track of it, because drugs destroy the lives of those who consume.
Drug use is a careful matter ; the consequences of their consumption can be identified and be reflected in personal, family, social and labor aspects.
I think the idea of "wanting to reach the moon and the stars", as consumers reflect, loses all sense when knowing the serious results they bring, simply they stop living to the full and become addicted.
