Artemisa, Cuba - After completing the seventh national evaluation of the program of local production and sales of construction materials in the province of Artemisa, which was qualified of regular, it was convened to a further exploitation of its potentials.

The municipalities of San Cristóbal and Bahía Honda were evaluated of well, existing in this last town the only factory that produces mills and other equipment used by local industries.

In the territories of Güira de Melena and San Antonio de los Baños, there are some problems in the local production of materials where becomes necessary greater managements, training of the workforce and to increase the productive capacities.

The member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and its first secretary in the province of Artemisa, José Antonio Valeriano Fariñas made a call to concrete even more this program looking for those good experiences from Guantanamo to Pinar del Rio.
