Cuban Tourism to Lure Spain and Portugal

Havana- The bounties of Cuban tourism will appear from October 12 in Spain and Portugal through presentations of the campaign Authentic Cuba, informed here the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) of the island.

A communiqué added that Mintur together with the Cuban embassies in those European nations organize the presentations of Authentic Cuba scheduled for October 12 to 23.

In those tours they will show aspects of interest such as programs of touroperators working with this archipelago.

Authentic Cuba will move thyrough the cities of Oporto, La Coruña, Santander, Burgos, Alicante, Granada and Madrid.

Attractions include different modalities as the traditional of sun and beach, others like ecotourism, cultural trips, Havana is being promoted as marvel city, main recreation zone of the island.

The plan also includes information on the main touristic events for next year, as the 36th edition of the International Tourism Fair Fitcuba 2016 in May, dedicated to the cultural product, hosted in Havana.

Other events in the promotion portfolio are underwater photography Fotosub (April), Varadero Gourmet (April) and the

International Marlin Fishing Tournamernt Ernest Hemingway (June).

In those presentations will take part the Consultancy of Tourism, Cuban enterprises, together with representatives of airlines, hotel chains and Spanish touroperators.

The showcases address most of all the formation of sales network in order to increase its level of information and motivation regarding tourism in Cuba, concludes the official note.
