Chilean Writers Talk to Cuban Hero

Santiago de Chile - The Society of Chilean Writers (Sech) held an informal meeting today with Fernando Gonzalez Llort, Cuban hero and one of the Five Fighters against Terrorism that served his sentence in a US prison.
Victor Saez, Sech president, told the Prensa Latina news agency that for those Chileans fond of peace, sovereignty and independence of the peoples, it is an honor to hold talks with Gonzalez Llort.
"We try to move the public opinion with our messages, to outline the better world we all dream of, Fernando is a living example of those values, and with Cuba and the Cuban Five, hope is strengthened", said Saez.
Gonzalez Llort, also vice president of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), visited today the Museum Salvador Allende and the foundation named after him in this capital city.
Yesterday he visited the mausoleum where lie President Allende's mortal remains, there he laid a wreath and said a few words to honor the great friend of Cuba and Fidel Castro.
"It was the most moving moment of my visit in Chile, for everything that Allende means for Cubans and of course for whole Chile", Gonzalez Llort told Prensa Latina.
Gonzalez Llort participated on the weekend in the 23rd Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba in Chile, which concluded with a vibrant political-cultural activity, in which the famous group Inti Ilimani performed.
