Book on the Cuban Five was Presented in Havana

Havana - The book 'What Lies Across the Water: The Real Story of the Cuban Five' by Canadian writer Stephen Kimber, was presented yesterday at the University of Havana. Cuban intellectual Ricardo Alarcón was the keynote speaker.
In statements to reporters, Kimber said that the publication of the book in Cuba takes place nearly a year after all of the Cuban Five had been released from U.S. prisons, where they spent more than 15 years of unjust incarceration. He said he wanted to include that part of the story in this new edition.
Another distinctive feature of the Cuban edition, released by Nuevo Milenio publishing house, is the foreword by René González, one of the Cuban Five, who described the text as the best written treatise on the case.
