Havana -Teachers'' Day is celebrated in Cuba today, even in social networks, with Internet users extolling the achievements made through the estab lishment of an inclusive system that secures the access of all to education.

On Twitter, under tags like #CubaEduca, hundreds of messages highlight the value of teachers in the formation of children and youngsters that constitute the future of the country.

"Congratulations, teachers, thanks you for giving us so much knowledges and freedom) to create; have a happy Tuesday," said Ángel González.

Another user said that "educating is teaching the man to think by himself from his early years, or better, removing the obstacles that prevent him from thinking."

Also in Facebook, the Internet users send congratulatory messages to all teachers in the country and abroad.

On Twitter, Anita highlighted the literacy method Yes, I Can, created by Cuban specialists, which "has brought knowledge to over nine million human beings around the world."

Teachers Day is marked in Cuba every Dec.22, as on that day of 1961 the Revolution leader, Fidel Castro, declared Cuba free from illiteracy.
