Enhance health services in Artemisa
Artemisa, Cuba - From the join of the public health services in the province of Artemisa, the hospital services exhibit higher levels of problem-solving. It is what happens in the 4 hospitals of the province located in San Cristóbal, San Antonio de los Baños, Guanajay and Artemisa, institutions that since the foundation of the province are gaining ground in the quality of the services and it is recognized by its this population.
In the case of the hospital Ciro Redondo, located in the provincial capital, the center has already 232 doctors and 323 nurses.
A sample of the high demand for services is that at the end of 2015, the health institution in the municipality of Artemisa received more than 73,000 patients.
It is noteworthy that before the reorganization of the health services, in the territory used to be only one specialist per every shift in the ward of Gynecology and now there are 3 on each shift, according to the information given to the press by Dr. Avelino García García, director of the hospital.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
