Berlin-An exhibition devoted to the German former pilot Michael Schumacher was inaugurated today in the presence of his relatives in the German city of Marburg in West Germany.

In the event cars with which the seven-times Formula One world champion ran will be exhibited,as well as personal items never before shown to the public.

According to those responsible of the exhibition, it will remain open for two years to honor the legendary pilot of 47 years, whose health status remains still unknown.

Schumacher had a skiing accident on December 29, 2013, which caused him a serious head injury despite the fact he was wearing a helmet.

After months in a coma, in September 2014 he was able to return home after spending a few weeks in a rehabilitation clinic in Lausanne, Switzerland, but he is not out of danger yet.

Among the 200 guests present at the inauguration was his wife, Corinna Schumacher, and their two sons, as well as the former head of Mercedes motosport Norbert Haug were.
