Began the potato harvest in Alquizar

Artemisa, Cuba – Began in the municipality of Alquizar the potato harvest in the Agricultural Production Cooperative Amistad Cuba-México.
In the area 44 of this productive entity we can see the tuber with good size and quality where at the end of the harvest, despite the affectations caused by the rains, is expected a yield of 24 to 25 tons per hectare, according to Fernando Ravelo Jaime.
He added that was planned to store the potato in the cold store of the municipality of Güira de Melena.
