Cuba, Artemisa – The workers of the Base Business Unit, UEB, Slaughter and Processing, belonging to the Porcine Company of the province of Artemisa, over-fulfilled the production plans expected till the current date.

Located in the municipality of Caimito the entity dedicates itself to sacrifice pigs from different farms in the territory for their subsequent marketing to the trading companies in the province, canteen in workplaces and selling to workers of the sector.

Aracelis Gutiérrez Utria, manager of the center, explained that this month they have a sales plan of 8 tons of pork and till the present date exceed the 21 tons, what will allow them to treble the planned number.

The unit has a total of 10 employees, which obtained a monthly salary of more than1 500 pesos according to their work results.

The attention to workers in the UEB is very good, they have guaranteed the basic means of work, only have difficulties with the delivery of knives, which is unstable; however, the workers make a great effort because they are motivated and happy.
