Panamanian Music in Piña Colada Festival

Ciego de Avila, Cuba - Panamanian music is present on the stages of the Piña Colada Festival in this eastern Cuban city, with the presentation of the Son Kayory group, led by director Adalberto Bazan.
The audience could enjoy and dance to the rhythms of salsa, bolero and merengue music, Panamanian style.
Bazan, grateful for the reception to his music, and very impressed by the warm of the Cuban people, stated that he appreciated this invitation very much.
"This is the fourth time that I come to offer part of the Panamanian floklore to an event like this; I like to share with the Cuban musicians, they are very talented and have knowledge of the rhythms they play," Bazan stressed.
Another highlight of the festival will be a concert tonight by Cuban female singer Ivette Cepeda.
Piña Colada is set to conclude Tuesday, April 5, in this city, 430 kilometers east of Havana, with the privilege of performanced by relevant figures of contemporary Cuban music this year, like outstanding tres player Francisco (Pancho) Amat, the National Music Award laureate 2010.
The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Hermanos Saiz Association and will be closed by Alexander Abreu and Habana D'Primera.
