
Artemisa, Cuba – Called by the Workers' Central Union of Cuba and to honor the Seventh Congress of the Communist Party, the workers of the sugar sector in the province of Artemisa are carrying out from March 24 to April 15, a productive working day in search of greater efficiency.
During the period of time the group of workers of the sugar mill 30 de Noviembre in the municipality of San Cristobal plans to grind at 80 percent, while in Bahía Honda in the sugar mill Harlem they have the committed to reach the 75 percent of grinding.
To honor the Congress of the Cuban Communists, the workers of the sugar sector in Artemisa will produce 13 340 tons of sugar, what will raise the industrial efficiency which will be superior to the one obtained in recent years.
The workers of Artemisa in this sugarcane harvest will place themselves among the firsts in the country to fulfill the plans of the production of refined sugar and honey, and work to recover the delays caused by the weather conditions and the quality of the raw material.
