Artemisa, Cuba - The workers of the construction sector will open the parade for the International Workers' Day in Artemisa, and to honor the date they are already developing a program of activities aimed to boost the production plans, the recognition to the most outstanding workers and to the beautification of different centers.

Also were awarded 54 workers of the sector with Medal “Armando Mestre” in a ceremony at the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemisa, opportunity in which Boris Luis Espinosa, Secretary General of the Union of the Construction Workers in the province, congratulated them for their performance and dedication.

The Cement Company Mártires de Artemisa has a plan of 142 377 tons of cement destined to MINCIN, to the industry of the construction materials and to the currency stores.

According to Lázaro Noa, Secretary General of Labor Bureau of the Cement Maintenance Company, the workers of Artemisa that executed the maintenance of the cement factory of Nuevitas in the province of Camagüey, are working in the one in Sancti Spíritus and in June will participate in the general repair of the factory of Cienfuegos.
