The brigade, which attends May Day celebrations in Cuba every year, now brings new comers from Israel, Ethiopia, the Congo and Iceland, along with representatives from Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania, according to the Cuban Friendship Institute.
The activists will first stay at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp, in the western province of Artemisa, where they will join Cuba farmers in agricultural works; they will be briefed on Cuban external policy and exchange with workers and students.
On May Day, the international brigade will join the massive March to be staged by the people of Havana at the Jose Marti Revolution Square and later they will visit the central provinces of Villa Clara and Sancti Spiritus, where they will share solidarity actions with the local people. (acn)
