Fidel in the Alive Memory of Artemisa

The organizers of the Book Fair in Artemisa province did not want to overlook the 90th birthday of Fidel, and called for a discussion on the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemisa, headed by figures who have known about the leader of the Cuban revolutionary process.
Journalist Katiuska Blanco, author of Todo el tiempo de los cedros(All the days of the cedar trees) and Guerrillero del Tiempo (Guerilla of time), linked to the rich history of the Castro Ruz family and its most famous member, told about Fidel’s permanent sense of creation , his constant concern about the fate of the planet and mankind , and his wise way to learn even from more anodyne human beings.
Katiuska recalled countless phrases and useful advics heard fromthis leader, owner of an optimism that leads him to say: "If humanity were to live only ten years, we would have to fight for it until the day before we die."
Two advisers of the Concil of Ministers , farmers Juanito gomez and Mario Fiandor, told about their numerous meetings with Fidel and his passion s to know all the details of agriculture and the effective use of technology in this productive branch.
Marlon Mendez, a boy from San Antonio Township,who collects pictures and images of the author of History Will Absolve Me, talked about his unexpected meeting with him and the impact it had on his life. Meanwhile, his countryman Jose Rolando Iturria remembered the beginning of the Revolution, in 1959, when Fidel arrived at his home in San Antonio, and his grandmother asked him not to resign as Prime Minister.
Jaime Masso, journalist and Margarita Callamo, provincial director of Culture, also revealed details about their meeting s with the historic leader, and Mabel Martinez, director of the Mausoleum, detailed the emotions she experienced during each visit of Fidel to this place.
José Antonio Valeriano, member of the Central Committee and First Secretary of the Party in Artemisa Province , attended the event, among other authorities.
