Noble system for the needy in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - Citizens of Artemisa with very low income and unable of make their own food, are benefiting with the System of Care to the Family (SAF) in the 11 municipalities of the province of Artemisa.
At about 2 113 persons in the young territory receive the service of breakfast, lunch and dinner in this entity, said Richard Hernández Olamendiz, provincial director of gastronomy.
In the province of Artemisa there are 69 establishments for the System of Care to the Family, working daily for the satisfaction of their customers by improving the quality and the variety of the food processing and the treatment to the guest.
The main specialist of gastronomy, Arnaldo Rodríguez Acosta, explained that for the improvement of this program in the province of Artemisa they are creating conditions to increase comfort and hygiene in the entities and in the workers that offer this noble service must outweigh a high human sensitivity.

Havana - Cuban intellectual Abel Prieto was appointed president of Casa de las Américas, the center's website La Ventana reported today.
Prieto, former minister of Culture and currently serving as director of the Marti Program Office and president of the José Martí Cultural Society, was nominated for the post by Alpidio Alonso, current Culture Minister.
