Cuban Vice President Welcomes Mauritanian Presidential Envoy

Havana - Cuban Minister Council Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas welcomed today Kane Boubacar, Mauritanian Health Minister and bearer of a message from President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz to Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz.
According to a note circulated in this capital, the sides will exchange during the meeting about the existing friendly relations between Cuba and Mauritania, the possibilities to develop it and for cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Mauritanian Foreign Ministry official Saleh El Khalifa; Cuban Public Health Vice Minister Marcia Cobas and Cuban Foreign Ministry Director for North Africa and the Middle East Orlando Requejo participated in the meeting.
Cuba and that North African Mauritania established diplomatic relations on August 15, 1972.
