Cuban Farmers Always Faithful to the Revolution

Just as the sun rises, farmers go to the furrow. No matter hot sun or heavy rain.They only leaves the field when they finish the daily task That is farmer's daily routine: working the land, produce as many much food as he can, but always preserving its vitality to continue producing.
But there is more in the life of Cuban farmers . It is worth to mention farmer’s contribution in the formation of cuban nationality, their active participation in the revolutionary process, their role in the defense of the country and the outstanding performance in the current economic and social situation. Hence their pride and commitment.
That is why that in the central ceremony of our province for the 55th anniversary of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), held in the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemisa, Dayania Hernandez, president of the grassroots organization at Camilo Cienfuegos Credit and Service Cooperative(CCS), in the capital municipality , highlighted that if the Cuban people found their way it is because it has not forgotten its history.
In the same political ceremony , Yamila Sarduy, provincial president of ANAP, emphasized that farmer’s first patriotic duty is to produce for the people. According to Sarduy, they met the productive lines in 2015, and this year -despite rains ,they exceeded 95 percent in the production of viands , grains and vegetables.
Our farmer exceed the plan in the production of milk, honey and eggs, pork, small livestock and cattle; They are engaged in planting short-cycle crops, and make progress in the work linked to Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), Young Communist League (UJC) and the Ministry of Education.
These reasons make the Farmers' Day in a celebration date to recognize those who stand out in the hard work on the land. In the symbolic site, Guira de Melena and Alquízar municipalities , several cooperatives and farmers Osmany Cordero and Hugo Manuel Menendez from Antero Regalado CCS in Artemisa and Niceto Perez Agricultural Cooperative(CPA) in Guira, received the recognition as National Vanguard.
With the attendance of members of the Central Committee José Antonio Valeriano, First Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Rafael Santiesteban, a member of the Council of State and president of ANAP, ACTAF organization presented the award for the work of a lifetime to Orlando Sánchez , from Pedro Rodriguez Santana CCS in Alquizar.
