The local TRD Caribe store chain offers a new application for mobile phones which allows checking the prices of the products paid through both local CUP and CUC currencies.

The local Juventud Rebelde newspaper points out that the software that is named CheckProd
allows getting to know the characteristics of a product and it is part of the measures carried out by that enterprise to guarantee the customer´s clients.

According to the local Cubadebate webpage, he application is already being used at the market which is located at 3rd and 70 in Playa municipality and it is planned to be applied in other stores.

To have access to this service, the client might have access to WIFI TRD in one of these centers by introducing the web http://checkprod.trd or 10.172.1.14 in its navigator, downloading the application and installing it.

if you wish to get to know a product´s price, the client will have to introduce the code of bars into the aforementioned device or scanning the area with the camera.
