Cuban Minister of Science and Technology Begins Visit to Vietnam

Hanoi - Cuban Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, Elba Rosa Perez, has began a visit to Vietnam today, during which she will meet with host authorities and visit sites linked to the sector.
According to the agenda, the Cuban delegation will meet the Minister of Science and Technology, Chu Ngoc Anh, and the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Tran Hong Ha.
Perez's agenda includes a working session with Ngoc Anh, as well as managers and specialists of agencies related to the Caribbean country.
She will also tour the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, in the capital, and hold talks with representatives of the Academies of Science and Technology and Social Sciences of Vietnam.
She will also visit a solid-waste treatment plant in the outskirts of Hanoi.
As part of the program, to be concluded on Wednesday, June 1st, the Cuban minister will hold talks with other authorities.
These contacts are part of the high-level exchanges between the two countries for the development of their cooperation, which covers several sectors.
