Paris - The cultural relationship between Cuba and France is ancestral,very strong and solid, the island''s Culture Minister, Abel Acosta, said here today.

We have a lot to do in many things, especially to Paris, a city with such a large cultural density and with great diversity in this sphere,Acosta told Prensa Latina, in the context of a working visit to this country.

Acosta stated that this initiative has had a fabulous reception in the Caribbean nation.

The French Film Festival is expected each year,as well as the presence of singers, musicians, painters, exhibitions of all kinds. The island's population knows to assess very well the French culture.

About his visit to this country, he stated that the final details of some of the activities that should close the aforementioned initiative will be made, among them an exhibition of great Cuban painters, possibly in late June.
