Raúl receives heads of delegations to the 7th ACS Summit

On the evening of June 3, Army General, Raúl Castro Ruz, president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, received the heads of state and government attending the 7th Summit of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS).
Accompanied by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Raúl greeted and briefly spoke with the heads of delegations to the Summit in the Palace of the Revolution, who later attended an official welcome dinner offered by the Cuban President.
This Saturday, June 4, the High Level Segment of the 7th ACS Summit will be held, with the participation of the heads of state and government of the delegations attending the important event; during which documents previously negotiated by Foreign Ministers and senior officials, will be discussed.
Among the texts to be reviewed are the Declaration of Havana and the 2016-2018 Action Plan, approved yesterday, Friday, June 3, by the ACS Council of Ministers, which took place in the Havana Convention Center.
Both documents give continuity to those ratified three years ago in the last ACS Summit, held in Pétion Ville, Haiti, in April, 2013.
