Artemisa, Cuba - The Provincial Management of Culture in the province of Artemisa is planning numerous activities for the enjoyment of children, youth and adults this summer 2016.

On July 2 the Libertad Park in the capital municipality will host the provincial activity for the opening of the summer period and on July 3 will be in the other municipalities of the territory.

Elians Cruz, specialist in planning of the provincial Department of Culture in Artemisa reported that as part of the activities in the second half of July the singer Liuba Maria Evia will present concerts in the municipalities of San Antonio de los Baños, Güira de Melena, Guanajay, Alquízar, Bauta and the capital city.

Summer readings, children's presentations, meetings of concert bands of the province and the performance of the National Circus of Cuba are other proposals for the enjoyment of the population during the summer months.

The Provincial Management of Culture will also support with the movement of amateur artists the celebration of important dates such as July 26, the 90th birthday of Fidel, the anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women and the Youth Day.
