Artemisa, Cuba - The Hero of the Republic of Cuba and vice president of the National Association of Economists and Accountants in the island Ramón Labañino Salazar exchanged last Thursday with the provincial committee of this association in Artemisa.
During the meeting were assessed the main lines of work to follow in 2016 and the role of the ANEC in the updating of the Cuban economic model. Ramón Labañino said that this association has much to contribute to the country in terms of economy.
The Hero of the Republic of Cuba thanked the support of the Cuban people and the international community in the actions to achieve the return of the Five. He highlighted the work with the new generations and the importance of strengthening the relationship between economics and politics.
As part of his visit he toured the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemisa, place that keeps the history of the sons of Artemisa who participated in the assault to the Moncada Garrison. Here he became interested in the events that put this province as one of the most revolutionary of the country and called the youth to continue the legacy of these fighters.
Artemisa is the first province that visited the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Ramón Labañino Salazar after May 16, when he took office as vice president of the professional activities in the national association.
