High Level Cuban communist leader visits Viet Nam

Salvador Valdes Mesa, member of the Politbureau of Cuba´s Communist Party is paying a visit to Viet Nam aimed at further strengthening bilateral friendly and cooperation relations.
Valdes Mesa, who is also Cuban Vicepresident, held talks with the chief of the Vietnamese Communist Party Foreign Relations Commission, Hoang Binh Quan, on bilateral links and they exchange views on the construction of socialism in their countries, according to PL news agency.
The Cuban top official said his main objective is to inform the Vietnamese Communist leaders about the recent 7th Congress of the Cuban Communist Party and recalled that Bihn Quan recently visited Havana following the 12th Congress of the Vietnamese Communist Party.
