Head of IOM meets with Cuban Foreign Minister in Havana

Ambassador William Lacy Swing Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) met during his working visit to Cuba with Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
In the meeting, Ambassador Swing said he was happy to be in Cuba, a country his organization works with to increase cooperation on international migrations.
Foreign Minister Rodriguez thanked the diplomat for the support and assistance provided by the IOM based on the bonds of respect and collaboration that binds them, and reiterated Cuba´s willingness to expand them.
Ambassador Swing was accompanied by Ana Durán Salvatierra, main advisor for the Americas and Marcelo Oisani, IOM general director for Central America, North Amercia and the Caribbean.
On the Cuban side was present Pedro Núñez Mosquera, General Director of the Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Cuban Foreign Ministry
