Artemisa, Cuba - By the Decree Law 259 and 300 in the province of Artemisa are favored 6 355 producers which are dedicated to the cultivation of viands, vegetables and grains and to the cattle raising.

At about 17 young persons from Artemisa demobilized from active military service, also receive the benefits of the land in terms of usufruct and contribute with their productions to the agricultural development of the province.

The National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) in Artemisa improves the attention and monitoring to the usufructuaries, in order to guide, represent and lead them to superior results as partners of Credit and Services Cooperatives.

In the young territory of Artemisa, there are 136 grassroots organizations belonging to the ANAP, which gather more than 17 000 farmers, among which highlight the contributions of the ones with lands in usufruct.
