The local civil aeronautics is the most impacted sector of transportation as a consequence of the prohibitions and regulations imposed by the economic and trade blockade that is kept by The United States against Cuba, among other causes like the use of less efficient airplanes, the additional expenses due to the leasing of airplanes, the prices of the oil, the lack of spare parts, the impediment in terms of acquiring an advanced technology, equipment, parts and other accessories and the passengers who were not transported.

In addition to those objective limitations, there is a negligent performance of those ones who aggravate the local passengers´ conditions of transportation due to the lack of information and the related mistreatment.
In the last months, it has been very often the cancellation or delay of the domestic flights. The passengers have also experienced the lack of information that confuse the people in the middle of those situations.

According to the international regulations fulfilled by our nation, that institution provide a free snack for the passengers as part of the service that they should be given when the related departure is delayed for some hours.

As for Cubana de Aviación airline, the cost of the snack is $ five Cuban pesos strong currency; however, that information is not provided to the passenger either and the list for prices is not updated which enable the mistreatment that might become a deception for the consumer.

Some questions, negative answers, complains and doubts affect the image of that domestic airliner which is a situation that do not occur because a lack of understanding by the passengers about the objective limitations experienced by the local aviation, on the contrary, it occurs due to the lack of ethics and professionalism in relation to the treatment received by them at the terminal number 1 of the José Martí airport from Havana city.

Apart from the financial affectations caused by the blockade on the civil aeronautics, it should be added the thousands of dollars that are spent due to the lack of planning and search for alternatives in the less possible time for the passenger´s departure to whom their flight is delayed for some hours or days under a deep uncertainty due to the long period of time waiting and even without a proper and related information.

The failure to comply with the ethical and professional responsibilities and the mistreatment of the local passengers is also added to the costs of the food and stay which generate the delay of a flight.

Luckily, those problems are not the predominant ones of the Cuban society and there are other working staffs and workers who guarantee through their high sense of responsibility the efficiency that requires the Cuban economics.

The Cuban business system has to be contributing to the financing of the different items within the state-run budget which back the social expenses as part of the policy for the cititizens´s protection in the Socialism, hence the call to use the outstanding workers ´capabilities to give the proper response that is demanded by the national economics and the people.
