Varadero, Cuba - Cuba will host the 27th World Congress on Orthopedics and Traumatology and the First World Congress on External Fixation from September 26 to October 1.

The Cuban Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology said that the forums will be held in the Plaza America Convention Center, in Varadero.

Both events will be a new opportunity to bring the world orthopedic community closer together, and to strengthen cooperation ties and scientific exchange, Professor Dr. Rodrigo Alvarez Cambras, chairman of the organizing committee, said.

Enrique Pancorbo, member of the organizing committee, told Prensa Latina that around 400 orthopedists from Europe, the United States, Latin America, and Cuba will participate in the activities.
