Cuban Erick Hernandez Sets New Football Control Record

Havana - Cuban Erick Hernandez set on Saturday the world football control record, after hitting the ball with his head only from a sitting position for 40 minutes and two seconds.
The new world record was established at the lobby of the Habana Libre Hotel, which is the venue of the Havana event of the Spanish Real Madrid CF, a club of which Hernandez is a fan.
Hernandez's previous record was 36 minutes, 14 seconds and 10 hundredths, and was set on April 24 at the lobby of the Copacabana Hotel.
In order to break this record, he exercised the region of the lower back and mainly the strengthening of the neck muscles, which is the most affected area of the body during this test, the Cuban News Agency reported.
Hernandez's world records include the hectometer, the marathon, hitting the ball with his entire body and from a sitting position using his feet only.
