An invitation to think over

Tres puntas de lanza, a newsletter on critics and reflection with several proposals, as defined by their directors, was released on Octoder 20, Day of the Cuban culture in San Cristobal Township.
Its release in the Municipal Museum was the combination of talent and naturalness contrary to any protocol that is the main feature of Hermanos Saiz Association, in charge of the brochure intended to have monthly editions.
This first release amounted to 125 copies and made clear in the words of the young Rogers Arencibia, in charge of the bulletin and deputy director of Culture in the town, the intention to "provide culture´s lovers, being artists or not , with a material to think about society from the perspective of artists with literary and scientific criteria´´.
Modus operandi, La ronda de las molestias, and Créalo o no lo creas , by Rogers himself, the poet Arturo Márquez and Eddy Marcos Roque –the designer ... - make up the content of this literary premiere, which was attended by Rodolfo Rensoli, who received the Provincial Cultural Distinction in Havana.
Rensoli´s attendance was not accidental: in Créalo o no lo creas , Eddy Marcos was entering in the so-called alternative culture, which is the passion of the guest, a well-known Hip Hop signer nationwide.
"Ignorance and prejudice regarding alternative culture brings about a lack of proposals to public of other trends that do not have a revolutionizing social message; that is when commercial gaps appears and reach concessions to banality, for example, reggaeton, which is already unavoidable part of the rhythm in the country.
"In understanding several identities the nation have , lies the strength to defend its culture," said Rensoli.
Successes, challenges, dissatisfactions as diverse as consumers and creators of artistic products, came to light at Tres Puntas de lanzas release , a welcome cultural program to foster the expressions needs of San Cristóbal´s artistic movement.
