A Panamanian business delegation from some sectors attends to the International FIhav 2016 Havana Fair in order to increase the trade and attracting the foreign investment that started on October 31st.

In statements to Prensa Latina news agency, Néstor González, who is the local official of the group and vice minister of Trade and Industries, explained that the companies will carry out some trade contacts in order to identify new partners, exchange knowledge and updating the new technological developments.

The Multibank firm is among the dozens of firms like the Tzanetatos food and agriculture firm and the Intercool refrigeration one which are part of that nation´s stand. It is the first Panamanian bank that will open its representative office in Havana as the Panamá Pacífico agency one. It is a public institution which runs and promotes the similar local Area Económica Especial (Special economic area).

Néstor González also highlighted that the Panamanian entrepreneurs are taking advantage of the extension of the partial agreement between Panama and Cuba which enables an additional advantage for the island´s preferential access given it allowed a trade exchange of up to $ 13.7 million dollars annually.
